Partner in digitisation and automation: transnova-RUF supports Ansbach University of Applied Sciences.
Digitisation and Industry 4.0 are the current trends in industry, but what does that concretely mean? Students of Ansbach University can now experience and test this themselves. A KUKA industrial robot makes automation and digitisation vivid.
The usage was made possible by the support of the Ansbach specialists from transnova-RUF: “This was a great exercise for the apprentices of transnova-RUF”, explains the head of the vocational training, Werner Bertleff, “we were responsible for the wiring, carried out the commissioning and built the tool for it. Our specialist Mr. Bender was responsible for the programming of the software.”

The advantages of this cooperation are also seen by Prof. Dr. Jürgen Göhringer:
“Ansbach University of Applied Sciences and transnova-RUF have mutually created the conditions for the digital factory by combining the real KUKA robot with the virtual simulation. Due to this transfer of knowledge and technology, we can show exemplarily and practically under which conditions the German industry can sustain and expand its excellent position on the world market in the future.”
